Urinary Hydroxyproline Level in Relation to Body Surface of Korean School Choldren

Abstract
|
|
|
1. Measurement of urinary hydroxyproline level was carried out in 162 school children (male 99,_ female 63).
Z The value expressed herein is the result of the level deduced from per square meter of each individual body surface The overal Imean was 74.6 mg/mz/24 hm in both sexes; the value was 62 8 mg/
m´/24 hrs in male and 93.3 mg/m2/24 hrs in female, the former being lower than the latter.
3. Significant difference is noted between male and female in urinary hydroxyproline level per square-
meter for all ages.
4. The brief review of literature was done.
